Waking up fresh, early in the morning on a day off. Exhausted after a long day of traveling. Taking a taxi with some friends to Saadiyat Beach Club in Abu Dhabi. The driver was talkative and friendly, but he wouldn’t want to change life with us, he said. He thought we were crazy when he heard our stories. I tried to explain that it is not us but the world that is crazy. 

By the entrance to the Saadiyat beach club there was a lot of sport cars parked. ​Mostly Ferrari but also some Lamborghini and a couple of Teslas. The place was exclusive and not exactly cheap. But we are quite lucky guys that don’t need to pay. We got some wristbands from the lady at the front desk and we put our names down on a paper. Here they have spa, gym, restaurants, pool, sunbeds, hair saloon, library, massage, café and just 50 meter down from the end of the pool you have the beach and the ocean. Anything you could ask for on a lazy day when you just want to relax. And we get to enjoy this as much as we want at any time for free. Feeling privileged. Saadiyat Beach Club must be one of the most layed-back and exclusive places to relax on in Abu Dhabi.

​We went to the locker room and got in to our swimming shorts. Had a shower and sat down in one of the bigger sized Jacuzzis. There was a nice and large steam room and a sauna as well. Then we went out to the pool area and we were shown to some nice sun beds. Large, soft double sized mattresses with a little table and phone charger close to hand. Here you can just lay around and order drinks all day, we thought to ourselves. After a while I went for a swim in the pool. Then back up to the sun bed again and ordered some sushi. We spent a few hours like this. Later I went in to the gym and spent about an hour there lifting weights and working out while one of my friends had a haircut. The gym was also quite exclusive, with all necessary equipment you could ask for. It was fresh and airy. They are looking after this place well. We had a great day at the Saadiyat Beach Club resort and we will be coming back here again to relax. In fact we already have been back to this exclusive place a couple of times. We have got back there just to use the gym in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this place and I hope you get a chance to visit it. Saadiyat Beach Club has nice personnel, great service and it is a nicely designed resort with a pleasant vibe. The exclusive time you get here to relax is worth a while if you’re ever in Abu Dhabi. And I think the winter time is the best season to visit Abu Dhabi. Then it is not too hot, but still warm enough to relax all day by a pool. It is a great place to start your travels to UAE at. 

Saadiyat Beach Club also hosts some events. They have DJ’s and live music performances. When we were there they had some saxophonist playing to a house DJ which were pretty good. They also had a whole orchestra playing acoustic instruments  and singing songs before that. Here is a link back to their web site.
