I have had some consistency in my everyday life and my routines here in Hong Kong, but apparently not much of a consistency in regard of posting on this blog. I hope I can change that. I would love to post more stuff on this page. I hope it is coming. Everything have been so much the same all the time for me the last few months here. And I have not really felt inspired to write or post about anything. I have been traveling around on a yacht to the amazing areas of nature around Hong Kong. So still some traveling being done at least. I am always traveling. Although I have just been traveling around in Hong Kong lately. It is an amazing place.  When I’ve had time off I have been flying my drone and filming from the sky. What I have been filming of the city and its building I have cut together into two videos which I am linking to here below. The first video has two versions. The only difference is the music. I first made one with some rap music on which I came across very randomly. Then a friend of mine came up with the idea that I should have some more known music on the video so people would find it on youtube easier. So I made another version with the tune Teardrop by Massive attack on it also. That was a tune which had a lot of views on youtube. Why not. I like it. I have always liked Massive Attack. Not sure which version of the video that is the best though. It is up to you to decide. The one version with Teardrop by Massive Attack as the music, has a more slow and relaxing feel to it and the other one a more aggressive feel. So it depends on your preference or just your mood maybe. But the footage is the same. This is all filmed in Hong Kong with a DJI Mavic Air drone. A drone which I can definitely recommend. It is for sure the most price worthy drone on the market right now. It is so simple and easy to use. It films in 4K and has a very good stabilization and most of the functions which the other drones have. This one is a lot smaller which makes it perfect for traveller, since it doesn’t take much space. I would definitely recommend it if you are interested. I am posting a link below to amazon, where you can get one for a really good price.

The footage in the video below is filmed in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island, Kwun Tong, Kowloon and those surrounding neighborhoods. It was my very first time making a video like this. Maybe it is a bit too long? Someone told me that it may feel a bit repetitive, since it has some long shots which I have just cut apart and mixed together. I just didn’t want anything from these long shots to be left out. But for sure I have cut it down a whole lot anyway. Also I was still learning how to fly the drone, so at a couple of occasions I almost lost the drone when I was flying around in the city in between buildings and I lost contact with it a few times because of that (you are not meant to fly it in that way). So it is a miracle that I still have it. Something which I am grateful for.

So here is the Hong Kong drone footage video part one of two, with two different kind of music. I made it as a little “commercial” or a “promotion”, or something like that, for the ebook I wrote recently ‘How to travel’. (Just by mentioning in text at the end of the video that you should download and read it). I think I will write another post about the ebook later. A little nice and thoughtful easy read about traveling just for fun. I kind of enjoyed it.

Below the videos is the link to were you can buy the drone I am using for a good price. Enjoy!
