I took the ferry to Barcelona from Ibiza. I like to travel on the surface of the water, that’s why. I almost turned this into a little island jumping trip in the Balearics by taking the ferry from Mallorca to Ibiza. From Ibiza to Formentera and back again. Then from Ibiza to Barcelona. But I must admit that it was a little bit too long for a ferry ride. 8 hours instead of maybe 1 hour with plane. But I enjoy to have all the big space and to be able to walk around and go outside for a while and all what it is to be on a boat. It is great to sit in the big sofas in the cafeteria and do some work on the computer with a cup of coffee all day.

On this travel I have been using Airbnb for accommodation. A great way to get cheap rooms wherever you go this time of the year. So well in Barcelona I went straight to the Airbnb place and ended up sleeping early that night.

In the morning I located a hill nearby, which I climbed to fly the drone from and take some pictures over the city. Followed by a slow walk the down streets towards Sant Antoni and El Raval, passing an area covered with graffiti where some skater dudes were making about seven nollie-kickflips in a row perfectly.

I ended up on a grand walk through the city where I went to buy an extra hard drive and stopped for some coffee in the sunshine at the cafeterias on the street. The night falls and and parts of the city is still lively even though it is off season. Barcelona is a city big enough to be good as it is any time of the year. This is how I spent my next following days. Exploring, filming and enjoying. Barcelona is great for just wandering around visiting restaurants and enjoying. But I did get better pictures on Ibiza then here.
