This website is about two years old soon. It’s been going through its phases. It has developed itself completely unforced. It has never really been a plan for this website. It was just meant to be a space for me on the web to do whatever I feel like with. I just bought the domain because a friend of mine told me it was available. Might be nice to have a .com domain, I thought. But from the very start it has had the text “traveling creative” on the first page. It comes from my two main interests. Traveling and creating. That are the two things I usually end up spending my time doing when I have time. On a holiday for example. That is the type of personality I am. These are the main things I need to do in order to feel well. What I am creating is changing through times. Sometimes it is music, sometimes painting, sometimes writing, photos, videos, etc. About one year ago this website crashed completely for no reason. That was when it was still powerd by Website Builder. The customer support at my domain provider couldn’t help me recovering it and they suggested me to build it up again from scratch but this time using Weebly as engine. That´s when I started to look at the site as “Wrasmus 2.0”. I have used it as portfolio for my photos. I have used it to promote my writing and to sell my first ebook. I started to post blog posts on it regularly. So I think traveling creative still makes sense because that is what I do. Now I am in the process of changing the engine of this website again, to start using WordPress. From this moment I will do a little refit and upgrade some things. I will have to be a little bit more clear about the nisch of it as a blog and I will start calling it just a travel blog. But the creativity part of it will of course still be there. I will just use it as a little touch and let it be something which makes it a bit more personal. It is a personal website after all. But as much as this is a travel blog which touches with the subject of human beings creativity. It is also all about encouragement and inspiration as well. I want to inspire people to do exactly what the they want to do themselves. Just like I am doing. For example travel or be creative within some kind of art. Someone once told me. If you don’t know what to do. Take a full year off and see what you end up doing during that year. Then you keep on doing that but in a more professional way. Take it to the next level and make it at its best, try to do it for a living. Ok, not everyone can take a full year off. I understand that. But I had earn all those saving I needed in order to do that. I had earned all of it myself. So first you have to work really hard just to be able to do that. But now I have a lot of hard work to do on this website. I am going to start writing articles about my travels. Some of them will be written in retrospective to begin with. Some of them will come partly from my old travel dairies. And some of them will be writing as I am visiting new places. And by the end of this year I hope I will have a good selection of travel articles about the whole lot of destinations I have been visiting. I hope other travelers will find some useful information and inspiration for their own travels from this and that I will manage to make it informative and entertaining. Anyway. I’ll try to keep on keeping the blog section updated as well. So it is going to be a lot of writing now. I guess I will have to continuously go back and edit these posts and articles after they are being published and as I am going along. And by the way. I know the website looks weird now. I will change to look of it as I go along. There are still some technical issues.
