The Balearics – A travel article

So I have now managed to post that article I’ve been working on for the last week or so. It is about the time I have spent on the Balearics. The Spanish islands in the Mediterranean Sea. The article starts with a little text about the group of islands in general. Then it is a section about when I was living on Mallorca for three months. This is not really any ordinary travel text. It is more of a general everyday portrayal where I am explaining how my existence took place when I lived there.
After this there is a section about when I was visiting Menorca. The second largest island in the group. That was a little more of a holiday visit, which I took during the time I was on Mallorca. During that trip I spend a lot of times exploring the island and its beauty by driving around and enjoying its little beaches and other places.
In this article I don’t write much about the second time I came to Mallorca either. But here is a link to the blog post I wrote back then.

Further on in the article is another section about my visit to the third largest island in the group. Ibiza, which I explored mostly by just feeling the calm atmosphere. I was there for a couple of weeks but I only spent one day driving around the island. Most of the time I spent working form the apartment I rented and went out for dinner in Eivissa city on my own, but with friends on video call or audio call. It was winter and off-season there. So it was very calm and quite which I liked. But you can still feel that it is something special with the island. During the time I was on Ibiza I also took a day tip over to Formentera. The smaller neighbouring island to Ibiza and shot some pictures with the drone. By the way, it was on Ibiza my drone all of a sudden fell down from the sky. I still kept this blog updated back then, when I was on Ibiza and Formentera (which I didn’t during my first visit on Mallorca and Menorca). So I have a couple of posts which I wrote back then also. I have spent my evenings writing on this article for much longer then I was hoping. I was struggling to get into the flow I was hoping. And the site started to get really heavy and the line was weak, so there were some technical issues I had to work with as well. I felt like I had to finish what I started but I think I will be going back to it to edit it and make improvements as I go along with other articles also. It is another one with a lot of pictures. I hope I will be able to fill out the site with some articles about my earlier travels and then catch up with new ones.
